thinking about a poem I read last night. well alright!
made this before the holidays. I use the op-1 and/or the op-z on all my songs in some capacity. I play all the tracks and trigger samples via a dj console and ipad. Used Unity this time along with rokvid for all the visuals.

i did a jamuary! Had to reformat the OP-1 as erasing the tape was getting weird (slowed down “erasing” animation and progress to about half speed about 2 minutes in) so had some fun with the stock “Finger” patterns and drum kits (but i loaded my synth lead from the recent battle and a Digital patch from op1.fun or here on the forums (“64”) and used the FM “Big Bottom” for the bass!

Blip-bloppy synth and vocals is a nice combination, and In My Room is one of my favorite songs. Another nice lo-fi synth + vocal combo is this one (not made by me, and no OP-1 involved as far as I know):

I made this little track on the Op-1 and then recorded every track to a Tascam 424 to give it a bit of tape warmth

A silly little jam, started late 1/31 night but finished early AM 2/1 so don’t know if it’s an official “jamuary” …All sounds except the “chime” (Iter hidden synth) from a cantankerous Casio SK-1 re-sampled and/or processed (often with hidden OP-1 “filter” FX) and all recorded, mixed on OP-1
