Everything is from the original sample provided for the MPC Beat Battle. Just played over FM to record to OP-1. Then chop/mangle/fx in the OP-1 to make about 10’ish loops. Then sampled into the MPC for further chopping, mangling and effecting to produce… whatever this track is, it’s definitely a mostly OP-1 track.

It’s kind of a pain to have the arpeggiator to start with the notes in the order you want though, it needs a lot of tries and once you get it, mistake is not allowed !

Remember? is my first track/performance/idea release from the OP-1. been learning it for the past month and i’ve become more and more familiar and comfortable with this beast machine. I managed to capture a feeling with this track that i’ve tried to capture for a long time but couldn’t.
everything on that track was recorded live onto the OP-1. it might be a bit sloppy but i feel like it works well for it. I hope you enjoy.
