brings me back to too many nights. squiddly not playing games!

thank you for this. :star_struck:

so happy to hear that the track made you remember those great nights.

I’m going back through all of my OP-1 backups/tape dumps to computer. I stumbled upon some of my very first recordings and sketches. This one kind of blew my mind. I have no idea how I did some of this stuff. Well, I kind of do- I spent every waking moment with my OP-1 when I first got it back in 2014. Enjoy. Really crazy-sounding stuff.

Made a Santa Claus is Coming to Town slow jam with some slowed down Bublé vocals.

Also sampled the start of Jingle Bell Rock.

Will get you in a slightly eerie Christmas spirit.

made a new track. horse half sample heavy. bunny half synth engine heavy.

Hi everyone!

I casually making music using bare op-1.
Some1 may find it’s interesting.

sound is neat. consider uploading to soundcloud so we can enjoy)

my fav is The Hazzle

Atmospheric lullaby with the OP-1 and some jamming with finger sequencing. Hope someone might enjoy to ease the sleeping process

OP-1 playing nicely with Mellotron.

Bit loud :headphones:

This was made for the last battle (78), so it uses one OP-1 engine recorded in real time. Gosh, it’s been a while. I’m out of practice using this keyboard. There were lots of mistakes, I wasn’t in the mood to re-record, so I decided not to submit it. Listened to it now, and maybe it doesn’t sound all that bad? Anyway, you be the judge.

I need to figure out a cheap way to hook up one of my full-sized keyboard to OP-1 for real-time playing. The potential is there. Having full range without switching octaves or using sequencer tricks would be amazing.

Not mine but found this incredible performance

ive been using op-1, op-z and some other synths to make tracks live on stream.
it can sound a lil rough at times (not being musically trained) but i thought i would share.
love how much fun it is to create on op-1

The OP-1 has got some serious bass!
I used it on a lot of tracks.
Hope you’ll like it.

Hi guys,
I appreciated your feedback on my last track, so i upladed a new one.
Recorded my Fender Rhodes, Bass guitar and some guitar lines and chords into it, chopped it up and created a chill foundation. The Op-1 is so nice to chop with, you can really create something else of your guitar lines, when chopping.
Afterwards i tracked it in Ableton, added some OP-1 synth and a small guitar solo.
Hope you like it, enjoy!

Hi @Gambler too bad you didn’t enroll to the battle; I think it’s a very nice piece you recorded there. I wondered how you got to play so many notes; did you use the finger sequence? Or you’re just a master in limited octave piano playing?

Nice textures. What was the goal of your study?
