Hey, all! Excited to be a part of this forum! Hereās the very first track I was able to make with my OP-1F and my OP-Z via USB input. This was all recorded today in a few hours at the coffee shop up the street.
I started by recording a live mix of the initial OP-Z track (with filtering and fading in a single take) to the ādisk miniā tape (track 4) and then spent a few hours adding claps, subtle drums, plinky piano, arpy arps, and a bass swell for good measure. Shared my tapes to my DAW via MTP and then added a slight pitch down to give it the feels.
I canāt explain how amazing it was to work on music in public. There was a moment where my eager hands deleted a chunk of the tape, but I was able to bridge the gap pretty easily. I see benefits in keeping both of these in my setup, with an appreciation for the power the OP-1F has and a natural gravitation towards the simplicity of the OP-Z.
Iām excited to try this again with a different genre in mind. Maybe I can actually do verses and key changes!

For 808 day, an all OP1 masterpiece that took a month of commutes to finish! (Has my own samples of the 808 i used to own)
Had to factory reset a couple of days ago as i literally was pushing the limits of the OP1 with this one! (The tape audio would drop out for like 5 seconds when going to the beginning of the loop!)
