OP-XY control Arp via CC and Keys via CC=106?

I know OP-XY Full MIDI CC List (thanks for that, very helpful!) but still have questions. Specifically:

  • The list suggests you can send a bunch of arbitrary key strokes on CC=106, but that doesn’t work for me. Is there a special channel I have to use? Or did it work in a specific firmware only (I’m on 1.0.50)
  • Any chance to also control the arpeggiator? I’d like to remotely control at least the number of octaves, but didn’t find a way yet. The list doesn’t mention anything related to the Arp, so I also tried all CC values not listed anywhere, but I had no luck. Being able to control the Arp when you can control virtually everything else feels quiet natural, though..

This did not work for me either.
And I tried.
Hard.

Somewhere along the way in combing the internet for answers to this I think I saw someone say that TE took the CC106 functionality away from the device in one of the updates. But I dont remember any more specifics (who said that or where). That would explain why so many folks cant get that to work though…
