I have a few wishes, starting with the fact that I think it would be in keeping with the times if Teenage Engineering had a community manager in the Discord or in this forum. I know that’s also more of a cost issue, but I expect something like that with some of these really expensive devices. The advantages are obvious:
- direct communication
- direct feedback on bugs and features, which can then be passed on to the programmers
- Simplified beta feedback etc.
Now straight to my wish list:
The performance of the CPUs in the OP-XY urgently needs to be improved. It is unacceptable that a 2300€ device can sometimes only play 5-6 tracks without pops and crackles.
Midi Soft True (at the moment you can only play external devices with the internal keyboard).
The send effects are not on the same level (graphically & functionally) as the rest. I would like to see a complete overhaul here.
Longer delay times - in the direction of (1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1/1, 2/1 - normal, dotted, triples).
Midi tracks need to be reworked. Sometimes the midi sequence stumbles - I don’t know why.
