They may read these forums but they definitely read those submissions, and I think a lot of the bug fixes and features have been stuff a lot of people have been submitting to them directly via that form.
Thanks for the link, I’ll do that. I did start sending bug reports to them on the advice of Tarekith, as well as here, but hadn’t done so for feature requests. I’ll definitely be sending them a few feature requests
IS the OLED just monochrome? Can it display colors or just shades?..
The reason is it would be very nice to have visual reflection for scenes
like: intro, chorus, main groove, build up, break, drop etc. via different shades or some user definable visual indication.
For song structure overview and scene managing
Or just the option to name scenes and patterns and display the active scene/pattern name in all main pages (e.g. in header or footer) at least when the track button is pressed.
The benefit of being able to visually shade scene is that you can view the arrangement (for all its benefits) instead of just a bunch of billiard balls pinned on a wall via numbers…
I think I heard somewhere on one of the videos that it is colour but they chose the monochrome/ shades of grey to fit the style of the unit.
I just wish I knew what video I saw that in. I’d bet it’s the same display as the OP-1 Field as that would make sense from a component price point with manufacturing.
I’d also like to be able to choose different colours for different parts
