OP1 Field tracks

ive been doing more guitar + op1 lately. i think this track has a better “blend” of the organic sound of guitar/strings with the synth sound of the op1. still trying to get better and better blend but i think def this has better blend than my previous beats:

thanks so much. really appreciate that. i bough the cab and components to build a fender deluxe reverb (1965 version) back in college and its still holding up! my soldering ended up not being a total disaster lol.

and always down for a collaboration!

Please hmu and send me some music

was messing around with the cermon preset on the fm synth engine and found that if you just randomly change the freq param you get these really cool old school telephone sounding artifacts. used it for the intro to this new beat i made recently:

Playing with high resonance values

Found a new workflow where I start with building my drums on the EP-133 and then sample them into the OP-1 field. I always struggle a bit with building drums in the OP-1 so this is a new workflow that I’m excited to continue to explore!

First all OP1f track!

Enjoy,

im trying to get faster on my op-1f and pushing myself to do things i dont always do, like chopping up tape! i recorded some harmonica on this one, as well as a few minutes of the sounds of the park i was in to put in the back once it was done.

Testing out Mother reverb and some faux “granular” for ambient on the bus ride home…

Heavy sonic lifting by “Mother” reverb in OP1 field. “Upright” OP1 field factory sample with LFO-driven GRID FX. Cluster, FM, Phase, Pulse, DNA, and Dimension synths, often with PHONE FX.

psound74 original generated samples include 0-coast sawtooth wave made with FM and a 1930’s Tin Music Box (with pseudo “granular” effects with LFO) ( based on an idea from this op-forums.com thread: Colors in Space Op-1 Field tutorial videos )
