Finally started wiring my Monomachine and Machinedrum together. Here's an experiment with the two of them, and a tiny Eurorack system featuring the Make Noise Telharmonic in Spirotone mode sequenced by a Future Retro Zillion, with some additional clicks and cuts from the Folktek Matter. Eurorack system is being managed by the Oplab with SyncLab add-on board.Video generated by running the recorded file through a crappy 'just starting to learn this stuff' custom Max 7 patchhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOu5FGKEJ2Q
Thanks! Here’s one from earlier this past weekend. I like the visuals in the first one I posted better (they feel much more mid-century modern / swiss / international style), but this is fun too. Similar setup: elektron silver boxes, oplab, small eurorack featuring Telharmonic (in regular mode).
^ Yes! I’ve been waiting for something new for so long.
The South 5th Players - Melodic Mantras
This is a project I’m working on that involves the OP-1 in some capacity on each track. All of the tracking/layering is done on the tape, most tracks feature one or more synths too. All of the samples are chopped and manipulated on the OP-1. I use Adobe Audition sometimes to EQ or boost volume on the finished recordings.
(not sure why the embedded playlist isn’t showing up here…any ideas?)
Just listened to the new Jameszoo record ‘Fool’. Some nice stuff on there. Be interested to hear what equipment he’s using on it.
VHS vid with A4 and Oto Machines…
@Virtual_Flannel This is great, I dig it a lot. Messing with the delay time works really well with the VHS vibes
Just stumbled across this:

The guy has a couple of videos in that style. Love it. Gives off a Monty Python meets Adult Swim kind of vibe with nice music to match.
This track is a collaboration with a complete stranger, SixtySeven.
Exchanges did work, and it was much fun to change his first guitar line into some acid bass with the OT
SixtySeven threw me back what I had done and so on until it was done :
@LyingDalai nice Been checking out this ‘Cyriak’ guy’s videos a lot for inspiration lately while learning After Effects and Premiere. So good. Some of the music he puts with his stuff has a warped/playful OP-1esque vibe too…
Aahahaha this video is crazy as fuck !!
Only Samplr this time. Sometimes one app is more than enough.
A quick improv on the Monomachine with some piano over the top.
Here’s the first modular jam I recorded. Having fun, I’ve been at this a long time and now, now it’s slowly getting to the point where I feel I’m on top of things. Thank god gear has so much live performance oriented features nowadays.
Not electronic music, unlike the other stuff I’ve listened to in this thread (but who says it has to be?).
As I tend to compose using the sound of a piano, I often end up with finished versions as piano as well. And in 9/8 time. So much more fun than 4/4. Also, wouldn’t life be boring without those minor seventh flat five chords?
