Hi I love the Op-1 Field. However sometimes I get frustrated. So today I want to save a 3 second sample as a snapshot and it said “full” so I hooked it to my computer and I deleted all the samples from the drum and synth snapshots. There weren’t many. Anyway but I noticed a different folder called SLOTS
What is this ? There are a few of a random guy taking (no one I know lol )
Can I delete them ? and where do they belong to ? And how did they get there
Thank you
Maria
Hi,
Noob too here. Slots are the assignation to the keys 1 to 8 for synth and drum.
You won’t spare much space by deleting them and, they will be back as soon as you will assign sounds to these keys.
You can use the search function of the forum to find more discussions about this topic, for example this one: System folders - Installing packs / patches

Hi, I believe there’s also a limitation on how many samples and patches you can store on the OP-1 Field, even if you still have available storage space. The limits are approximately: 42 user melodic sampler patches, 42 user drum sampler patches, and 100 user synth patches.
Okay thank you. I just wonder how those voice ones got there in those slots. I still don’t get the slots exactly. I also bought some packs so I’m sure that is contributing. However as soon as I deleted the ones I made and saved on the machine I was able to save more.
Thanks again
Still wrapping my head around the work flow
Sounds good. I will check. Thank you
that’s for the original. the field is 500 in total across all “types” of samples/presets but the 500 does NOT include factory presets luckily. so it’s 500 user created.
ah, thanks for the info =)
Okay thank you !
