A note about pattern chaining you can chain up to a maximum of 16 in a row I have found.
Another thing is that it seems to be not working perfectly while playing.
Another thing is that it seems to be not working perfectly while playing.Yes, I am pretty sure I have experienced this, too.I think that it gets better when you're in write mode, but I'm not sure.Have you seen this bug already ?
^ Sometimes (some) keys fail, unless you press a bit harder (or maybe longer, not sure). Couldn’t it be that?
This seems like an easter egg: on the PO-14 (didn’t try the 16) micro drum machine, if you turn the left pot to the minimum, the sounds change to something very different, a bit videogamish.
^i have noticed this aswell. sorta bitcrushed/ i assumed it was just a super low pitch.
having trouble understanding to mix levels on these things. currently synced 12 as master then factory then sub. sub and factory are both waaaay louder than rhythm but they’re all set to the same volume setting. tried turning up the volume on 12 but it didn’t seem to help much if at all.

Mine sound the same as described. PO12 as master, to sub, then to mixer. Fiddled with volume levels on both, can never really get volume out of the 12 in that configuration.
eh whatever. reversed the chain 16->14->12 and it seems to be fine now
@kites i’d love to see a video with the po + minikp2. was thinking of picking up a mkp2….

What the hell!!! It’s true! Was having the same issue, and this fixes it. Man the OCD part of me just can’t stand reversing the order like this lol. I really wonder why the heck that is!? Would love if some other POfam could do the same test just to confirm. I think this might be pro-tip #1.
ha. i’m def not ocd but it definitely feels backwards to have them chained this way. drums should def be master ;<br>
The Trigger Box App for iOS makes a great master clock and its free.
1 question: is it true that the PO-12 doesn’t use the “2 4 8 16” numbers at all?

are you referring to the step retriggers? if so it’s the only one i’ve used it with

I think the limiter/compressor is very sensible to transients. When I send the monotribe drums into a po it totally kills the volume, but it’s perfectly fine if I only send the monotribe bass. Probably the same happens when you send the po drums.

I see the button come up on the screen , but I can’t get the step multiplier to do anything noticeable. What am I missing? These things rule so hard. I’ve got the factory coming from Colette now too!!

Have you tried using the multipliers on say a single hi hat track playing or just a kick. I find it pretty minimal, more like a flam than a repeat. I couldn’t hear it until I isolated a sound.

Horror story- Before I tested Trigger on the POs, I wanted to try it out on this noise/modulation box for my Minibrute. When I plugged in my iPhone, it’s screen did a pixelated glitch and went black! Luckily it beat death when I plugged in a lighting cable to charge it, and the charge was ok at 58%
