Now official. Inkl. Push1 trade-in-option …
Octatrack is not getting that update for its sequencer according to Cenk (according to someone that talked to him at a festival). Sigh. So much sigh.
Monome is releasing a 120hp euro case with a row for tile utility modules. Hideously expensive of course, with preorders starting at $1100 and no modules. You do get a spring reverb tank so that’s cool.
There’s an OP-1 hiding behind it in one of the pics
And - omfg, Elektron are adding probability and "play every nth trig" logic on at least the Analog machines. That's absolutely killer.
Is there a thread on their forum with info about this? I’d like to read.
For me, the biggest thing for A4 would be if they allowed to change arpeggiator params per step, like you can with almost anything else. That would make for some awesome and extremely complex rhythms/melodies.
The shop across the road has the JP-08, I’ve drawn out the money, then took a detour on the way back to the shop.
Arrrgggghhhhhh so difficult to restrain
Do I or don’t I???

Haha, do they have a demo unit you can jam on. They must have a 14 day return policy? If you don’t like it just take it back! Make sure there is no restocking fee bullshit.

They had a demo unit, that was the problem. This thing kicks some serious batty crease; it’s a wallop and a half!!!
If I bought that thing there is no way I would be taking it back my man! Haha anyway I cleverly distracted myself by purchasing an Akai APC key 25… well, I think I cleverly distracted myself… my wallet feels lighter… Hmmmm

i guess only german law has the 14 day return policy - and only via online shopping.
Nah, I think 14 day return policy is a EU standard nowadays, but yeah, just for online shopping… Dunno about rest of the world…
Loving the convergence of old Skool Alesis drum machine, custom mods and clever use of Arduino here;
I’ve got too many machines to warrant another, but it looks like fun.
So, after pondering between getting an LXR and a Nord Drum 2, I’m finally veering towards the latter. Just need to see if there’s any nice Black Friday deals to be had. Planning to sequence it with the Octatrack & the OP-1.
Worst period of the year for GAS-addict like us all…
UK has the 14 day return policy.
Nothing very appealing for me for this Black Friday.
The Deco – I think many people agree that it’s a pretty subtle effect. That was my impression, too. It sounded nice, but it’s like… Well, for me to have something like that on my main bus is like having a wine cellar in a mud hut, you know?
There’s a lot of pretty elementary things to fix in my productions, so the Deco seemed a bit like a luxury item for me.
I get what you mean @josker.
@vehka I just (like 2 weeks ago) finished building an LXR. The build was fun and the result sounds good! A rewarding project!
@LyingDalai - Man the JU-06 is well worth the money if you dig the 106 sound, love mine.
Gassing like hell for a Moog Mother32 or 3
