Monome is releasing a 120hp euro case with a row for tile utility modules. Hideously expensive of course, with preorders starting at $1100 and no modules. You do get a spring reverb tank so that’s cool.

For me, the biggest thing for A4 would be if they allowed to change arpeggiator params per step, like you can with almost anything else. That would make for some awesome and extremely complex rhythms/melodies.

i guess only german law has the 14 day return policy - and only via online shopping.
Nah, I think 14 day return policy is a EU standard nowadays, but yeah, just for online shopping… Dunno about rest of the world…

So, after pondering between getting an LXR and a Nord Drum 2, I’m finally veering towards the latter. Just need to see if there’s any nice Black Friday deals to be had. Planning to sequence it with the Octatrack & the OP-1.

My local store has actually said in the past that they’d take something back up to a month if you didn’t gel with it - but I assume that’s more for locals/regulars than online randoms.

I think I should keep the money, but in the same time I lust for two things :
- JU-06 : happy owners, do you manage to get close to this with this little beast ? Is it OK for minimal dub techno ?
- Deco : love the sound of it, I feel like it would go great on an OT or MM… What’s your feeling on this one, people ?
Also, I returned the iCon iKeyboard because it was not OK for me.

The Deco – I think many people agree that it’s a pretty subtle effect. That was my impression, too. It sounded nice, but it’s like… Well, for me to have something like that on my main bus is like having a wine cellar in a mud hut, you know? 
There’s a lot of pretty elementary things to fix in my productions, so the Deco seemed a bit like a luxury item for me.
That being said, it did do some very nice stuff.

Still, my ears perfectly hear the difference between the same sample slowed down in OT and AR (I like AR better) so I was looking for something that would add some analog-like smoothing to the sound, kind of. Plus the distorsion is something I like, being a guitarist ^^
I think I would be pretty happy with the result of this effect.

@vehka I just (like 2 weeks ago) finished building an LXR. The build was fun and the result sounds good! A rewarding project!
@LyingDalai - Man the JU-06 is well worth the money if you dig the 106 sound, love mine.
