it uses the same engine as the current stuff apparently @darenager
We know about the remakes of the ARP Oddyssey by Korg and Behringer. Korg though occasionally throws out some suprirses like last year’s SDD-3000 and NuVibe pedals.
Guessing the new Moog will just be Sub 37 Stage Edition, in keeping with the history of Little Phatty (Tribute edition first, then cheaper Stage Edition).
@KrisM
The really cool thing about the new Casio’s is that left handed people will love them as you just switch them around to the angle or direction you feel happy using them - theres no right or wrong.
I just came back from CES and tried the Casio… what a hunk of junk… I was very unimpressed.
This video is BAD advertising for their products and they should pay her off straight away and get someone in who can showcase the products a lot better.

I felt sorry for her and was kind of shocked by the Trancesheezer sound, but, cool dress! So one thump up!
Seriously, if Casio was so invested in this product, why couldn’t they hire one of the hundreds(or thousands)of super-talented DJs from Japan, especially since Vestax went down? If they bring that girl to NAMM, they will be the biggest joke there. I’ve seen some gimmicky demonstrators at NAMM before, but this one would take the cake. I’m sure Jeremy Ellis and Qbert will be in the building.
ha! that is sara simms in the video…
haha too funny. i still think that casio pad thing could be cool tho.
So lame.

Ya it could be decent for sure, CDM had a few good articles on it. Why it gotta look like a millennium falcom tho???

Because it’s geared toward the millennials for sure. But they definitely missed the point it looks like. Casio needs to stick to portable keyboards and digital pianos. They’re out of their element with synths and Dj gear.
Just wanna say that casio thing might be a bit rubbish, but its not the fault of the woman in the blinging dress. Its obv aimed at teenage bedroom deejays anyway.
aw come on guys, what is this a boutique gear forum ;)

Welp, the new Moog is just a huge modular for the 1% that happen to be musicians.
