TP-7 basic songwriting workflow (help!)

Hi, I’m struggling with a basic songwriting workflow on the tp7. What I’d like to do:

  1. Record a simple instrument track over microphone or import via USB (have done this ok)

  2. Loop that audio track (have done this ok)

  3. Play instrument track over headphones, and then the sing along to the looped audio track, record various takes, and listen to the audio take plus the looped instrument track to see if I like it.

Is this workflow possible with TP-7? I have a TX-6 if that helps enable it. I’ve googled around and watched various youtube videos, but couldn’t find anything addressing this use case.

I’m genuinely not trying to be sarcastic but the manual explains the process quite well. What you want to do is achievable- check the edit recording section.
