I’ve been listening to a lot of Death Grips lately. I’m not really big into hip-hop beyond the really weird corners of the genre, and they are definitely weird.
I’ve been stuck in a holw in the ground and just found xrepentancex, shame they are playing their last gig soon. Prob not everyone’s cup of tea though.
For some time it’s primarily my uninvinted friend, Tinnitus whom I’ve been listening to,… not that I like the tunes very much. 
I f**ked up the ear cleaning (again) is all, so I may not go deaf just yet… I’m about to see my otolaryngogist next Monday, she’ll fix me up and all will be good again.
I’m late to the party on this LP but it’s great. Some parts remind me a lot of Black Moth Super Rainbow etc -
I second Tim Hecker’s new LP, great release! I also have been listening to the The Field’s new album The Follower.

Queen. I love there use of synthesizers. I have there Greatest Hits and the motion picture soundtrack for Flash. Some brilliant synths used on Flash for pads and FX! It’s a really great listen.

It’s funny, because on just about every album (prior to The Game), they would boast “no synthesizers” right on the album jacket. So the lion’s share of Greatest Hits has no synths at all.
I was very excited for the new De La Soul record, on the strength of the first couple of singles.
The final product did not meet my expectations. It’s a 50/50 affair.
