I LOVE these, especially the second - really great stuff! Is the ‘lead’ sound at the end of the second song (and about halfway through the first) coming from your modular setup or the OP-Z?

Here’s something I made that sounds kind of cinematic. I’m using the OP-Z for everything except the semi-randomized sonar-like sounds coming from the Modal Skulpt

and a video of it being created: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLV_w4C_k9I

Thank you so much for the kind words! I like your track too

The sound you are talking about comes from Noise Engineering’s Basimilus Iteritas Alter. I love it.

Lovely stuff.
Nice choice of chords!

My first go at performing a song on the OP-Z. Really loving this litle box now that I took the time to give it a second chance, glad I bought another!

I just got Intellijel’s new Metropolix sequencer this week… so much fun! OP-Z is playing a supporting role here, doing the bass and arpeggiator and TR-8S on drums.

Anyone else playing Loop Hero? I love the music so I made a cover on the Z sequencing my modular.

Hi guys!

I’ve also been lurking here for a while! So many great choons and so many useful resources here!

Here’s a link to my soundcloud with most of my op-z jams. The op-z is the basis for everything I make. Most of my tracks are live recordings from the z alone in one take, some have the odd part added over the top and some have the odd random samples with a bit of EQ and compression from Logic but mostly stock sounds and synths from the op-z.

Hope someone enjoys!

Hi fellow Operators!

I am starting to release music and visual art under the name Malwida - This is my first published op-z track, recorded as a live performance into OBS Studio:

I like fooling around with Photomatic and use it to “remix” video samples from other artists. Original video is linked in the youtube description. I’m looking forward to explore more visual possibilities with the op-z (videopaks, dmx) in the future, to make videos going along with my tracks.

Op-z into ipad with usb-c. Photmatic video sync recorded while performing the song. Glitch and lumafusion for layering.

Making this I realize I missed an opportunity to use photmatic for the
layers that I used in Lumafusion. But going through the process gave me
some insight for next time.

Setup:
Usb-c cable out of the op-z into the ipad.
Screen recorded the photmatic video synced to sound
Exported the audio to audioshare to normalize
Audio into AUM for some mibox limiter and compression
Video manipulated 4 layers in Glitche app
EMoji, lines and scenesettings in glitche
manipulated the video in real time in Glitche
Audio and Video Synced up in Lumafusion
Added the text layers in luma
separated the video into 4 squares for effect
screenshots of the op-z added and manipulated
with luma effects
export and uploaded to youtube
