I’m working on a song right now. Recorded something I made with Musyc Pro onto a track then slowed the tape way down for that mellow vibe, adding some Dsynth love to it now courtesy of Endless.
Hmm. I set input to Ear to record track 4 onto track 2 so I could do some fade in/out, and it recording “something” (there’s a line…) but no audio. How odd (volume was up on 2 and I could hear 4 as it was recording…). I’ll have to try again I guess, maybe Ear got turned off by accident.
This is the first time I completely draw the battery of my OP-1.
For some reason I let the switch on.
I I had not read somewhere that I just have to keep it plugged for some time before I can play again with it, I would bet it’s a brick, it doesn’t respond at all !
this is TE instructions just before i send it to them (i hope it will work for you)
If the unit does not start or charge:
Make sure the OP-1 is turned off.
Disconnect the USB cable and wait a few seconds. Important!
Connect OP-1 to a computer or charger using USB and leave it turned off for a few hours.
After this disconnect USB again and leave it turned off for about three seconds.
Finally reconnect the unit again. Does it charge now?
Try this a few times, and report back.
If the unit starts but does not charge properly:
Disconnect USB, turn your unit on and leave it on until it turns off by itself. Do not manually turn off the unit. This could take up to 18 hours. The unit is off when the screen has turned black.
After this, charge it fully using a computer or any standard USB charger. This can take about 2,5 – 6 hours depending on your situation. (The battery is 1800mA). This should recalibrate the battery indicator.
Your unit will charge when:
It is turned OFF and connected to a USB power source. (computer / charger)
It is turned ON and connected to a USB power source, unless USB charging is turned off in the OPT menu. (SHIFT+COM, 4)
Reading about how ADCs (analog to digital converter) work and how to write a wav file. It’s rather fascinating what an Arduino Uno is capable of. Like writing a mono 8-bit, up to 48kHz wav file to a micro sd card via the ADC used for the analog inputs, but it’s the how that is impressive.
I seem to have lost the Lightning cable for my Sonic Port. Line6 wants $35 for a cable to something that costs $99 -_-
I have a song that relies on slowing the Tape down, and since Album is still locked at 6 minutes the song is trapped on my OP-1 until I can record it to something.
But I just let the OP-1 drink some electricity while I was praying IPA, the Goddess of Beer. I turned around the brick a few times (don’t remember if it was clockwise or anti-clockwise, though).
Then I went to bed. And in the morning, my prayers were fulfilled.
Did not get my Analog Keys today because the seller shipped it “direct signature required” and of course FailEx tried to deliver it when the person that was home was still asleep -_- then they told me “hold for pickup” will be 1-2 business days so probably won’t get it all weekend after waiting a week already. I should have just overnighted it for a Saturday delivery and had it a week ago.
Call me impatient but knowing something I paid for is in my city and I can’t go pick it up is just bullshit.
