Today I have not usual stuff… duo with Natalia who is a vocalist

klimat.wav on Instagram: "At the end of June, @marczunia and I sat down on a bench and played a little outdoor duet together. She added some lyrics and a melody to this chord progression I’d been playing on repeat lately. We captured the take while kids were playing on the nearby playground and distant trains passing by — if you listen closely, you can hear it all in the background! @marczunia, thank you for being here 🥹🌞"

Hiya, folks–

I am a baby musician and picked up an OP-1 Field earlier in the year. I’ve been utterly enamored with it. I took a step out and published my first song today and I’m very proud of it!

WALQ

A DAWless execution that leverages a number of sounds around my home.

(Double post with op1 tracks thread)
Live thing from last weekend for h.em.tx. Mostly reuse of tape regions from Jan and Feb, with some layers added by “the great conjunction”.
Mixing unsynced between 3 machines (2 op1, 1 op1f).

Yep, played live on the bench =)

This video is part of a series called “Rhythm first”, so you can hear more stuff on the channel devoted to rhythm exploration.

hope you enjoy!

Still listening to this track, but it’s awesome! Great ambience, I love it. Is that guitar recorded into the op-1 or is that an op-1 synth patch that sounds like guitar?

thank you so much for checking it out. appreciate the kind words

that was my fender telecaster that i plugged right into the op1f line input with the terminal effect for some distortion.

i’ve just now officially finally released my first album! it was recorded and produced entirely on the op-1 field, tx-6, and tp-7 with no post processing. it’s a blend of modern jazz and electronic/idm and it aims to capture my nintendo childhood with my current jazz adulthood lol. for now it’s on bandcamp, and the raw takes are on my soundcloud. you can view the liner notes on my website if you want to read more about it!

ps the album comes with preset/sample packs for op-1, og-1, op-z, po-32, and one-shots from the album!

Made this IDM / Triphop EP using the OP-1 Field, TX-6 and TP-7

The OP1 field is a Swiss Army knife in my setup. Here is a Dawless jam built around a vocal sample taken from “There will be blood”. It’s taken from YouTube on an iPhone usb C direct to OP1. Run through the onboard delay, easy and sounds great.

When it comes to the showdown

I love the new Amp. Here is a track based on a guitar riff and enjoying layering additional guitar and synth tracks. The multi lift and shift-drop function was very helpful. I can’t believe it automatically bounces it with the mixer levels. Shortcuts the whole process of bouncing.
