When some serious guys will start working with those two (and more) we will get a lot of nice tracks to listen to. And I'm looking forward to :)
The pattern that Cuckoo plays to demo the K-Mix in this video really made me want one, but also made me think that I’d probably not be able to make something as awesome:
The Office is fun! I have been messing with it ran through the El Capistan and when I get a bit more comfortable with it I will post something…maybe later tonight. The Robot is super fun to. The Arcade is an absolute gem though. I may go ahead and order a second one.
I just got the office. It’s great. More than just cold rhythms. It a few sounds you can pitch and if you hold write and turn the A knob you get a numerical read out. You can match and adjust pitches that way. Pretty neat.
Am I the only one interested in the Office? I really want to dig into the weird samples, it sounds rough and heavy and I think it would compliment the PO12 very well, which is my favorite one of the first three.
The Arcade sounds awesome because of the massive functionality and sound. Gonna get this one too.
I’m completely disinterested in the Robot. The leads are cool but thats about it…
Clearly you’re not the only one. I like the potential for using Office for less typical rhythm parts and such. Then there is the fact you can tune the pitches to the chromatic scale.
Robot being locked to a diatonic scale is a bit of a turnoff but if I see a bundle deal for all three, I might be tempted.
My shipment has been saying this since I ordered last Wednesday.
Årsta - The Item has been sorted
Is this normal? I’m in England.
Mine was also showing ‘The item has been sorted’ until it was delivered. The tracking info didn’t seem to really change. I ordered on launch day (21st Jan) and it arrived on the 26th Jan.
What sort of bass sounds can arcade and robot make? Anything with a big bottom?
Also guys, I saw a video (http://youtu.be/V5A2lUI61i8) of a guy sending each PO’s audio to a mixer whilst splitter cables look like they maintain sync between the units. I think I would like to do this with my mixer for more control. What sort of cables will the be, just simple headphone splitter cables?
I think you’d need a 3.5mm Stereo to 2x Mono adapter. The audio would then go to one side and the click track to the other… Probably best to use one of the cables designed for iPhone DJ’s that allow them to cue on one channel and hear the mix through the other.
Can I adjust the volume of individual sounds or do I only have master volume control? It seems like other POs have this functionality but I can’t figure it out.
Is there a way to actually play a scale with a sound or am I stuck dialing in the note after the fact? The “manual” seems to hint at being able to play the sounds into the sequencer, but I’m afraid that might just mean triggering the sound a not acually playing a melody.
