I wish the manual in the app didn’t require an internet connection to view
“Progressive sampling”, I don’t know the proper term: sample to a key/note individually and op-z handles combining it into a file, rather than having to create whole sample kit in one go.
Having to create a whole kit in one go is a major barrier to me building my own kits sample kits and really requires a computer.
yesss there really needs to be some kind of eq
I wish there was a way to manually choose the scale instead of the very opaque way that the OP-Z automatically decides what scale/key you’re playing in.
A small and I hope really easy extra would be a random LFO which isn’t stepped but smooth.
I have seen this on other synths and it is very nice.
A second LFO would be great but not sure if that takes too much processing power. But another LFO shape (smooth random) is surely very doable?
We will probably never see a module that has individual outputs for all eight tracks. And multitrack output via USB seems to be a problem as well, caused by not enough computing power.
BUT would it be possible to create a module, that extends the power of the OP-Z in a way that multitrack output via USB is possible?
Missing this feature so much @ONE
On the lights track, fix the step + Left/right so it doesn’t toggle between the performance and sequencer. This way it’s possible to nudge notes without switching between the two.
Is there an easy way to clear punch-in effects for individual tracks, rather than clearing the performance track completely?
I think you could do it with erase record and an external keyboard but I don’t think you can get to those octaves from the OP-Z when on the perf track. A key combo on tracks would be better anyway.
Im about to sell my opz. Higher step resolutiion is a must
I don’t know if anyone replied to this back then. But there is a setting for this in the system settings accessible through a computer connection and editing the general.json file. Instruction 24.3

The master track is still complete voodoo to me. I am used to techni-chord from back in the day.
Looking back at this post, seems like this somewhat came true. Just that the Tx-6 is a lot more expensive than a dude. Lol
Simply opening up the “plug” (ie. synth engine) API would give this hardware completely new horizon of possibility via a third-party market of new sound synthesis, effects and more. I think TE added more plugs only once. I am surprised it wasn’t reverse engineered already by some hobbyists.
Someone do it already!
The TX-6 isn’t really what I was after though, I was primarily looking for something external to control levels of internal OP-Z tracks. Although the Line module did provide some of what I was looking for with the external line in port. Now, if there was an external box with faders to control the 8 internal OP-Z channels plus another fader for the Line In on the Line module then we’d be talking.
Korg nanokontrol or nanokey studio will do that for you.
But I want 9 (or 10) faders
get a few intech controllers
