great news
I tried using a usb stick but it didnāt record. Also I am noticing it freezes almost immediately when sending midi in over usb. It will play notes but as soon as you go to the main menu it locks up and requires a restart. I am using a very simple usb input device and I also tried midi out from the op-z and that also caused the tx-6 to completely freeze.
The tx-6 does support a usb-c hub which is pretty convenient.
I saw this video. Really really interesting an answer from Tobias at around 9:10. Regarding recording ability.
Waiting for further firmware upgradesā¦
thatās kinda what i figured when i bought mine
it seemed like one or two updates away from this ability cause all the tech needed is built in
just makes too much sense
I just want to mention TE suggested I reset the device and reload the firmware and that seemed to correct the midi issues I was having. Hopefully it permanently resolved the issue but so far so good.
Hi there.
Quick question, for the compressor effect, what parameters are available? So far on YouTube I only see 1 parameter which would be the intensity of the compressor (perhaps a mix between threshold and ration?).
What about attack release etc.?
nothing else so far
what was shown is all thatās there for now, i really hope they expose the other params soon
Interesting, thanks.
Wonder how you can correctly set the compressor then
Does anyone know if the TX-6 has a Pocket Operator sync feature similar to the OP-1?
In other words, is there some way that you could plug in multiple pocket operators into the mixer to mix them independently and have the mixer set the master tempo?
playing my first set with TX6 as the hub tonight on Twitch
show starts @ 9pm est and i go on 30mins later
tune in if you can!
Got mine today but the screen wonāt turn on!
Fully charge it, and try to update the firmware?
I canāt update it because the screen wonāt turn on ā¦but the mixer powers on
You can set it to firmware update mode without needing the screen, just hold the cue button as you turn t on. Plug it into your computer and you should see it mount, and drop the firmware file onto it, and then eject it and wait a while.
Hit up support if that doesnāt work, sounds like you got unlucky there but at least one other TX-6 buyer had to contact support so far for assistance and they got them up and running quick.
I did that nothingā¦the screen wont light up
Will have to send it back .
I know the screen wont light up. Iām saying mount it after turning it on while holding the cue button, and then connect it to a PC. If youāre saying it doesnāt mount or isnāt detected, then yeah, hit up support.
It mounts ā¦I updated it ā¦but I canāt use it if the screen wont show ? ā¦did yours give you all this trouble ?
